Vandrezzer FC’s penultimate game of the season against neighbors Ikorodu City has been postponed to a later date.

The game was scheduled to take place on Sunday July 17, 2022 but will now be given a ‘later date’.

This follows a memo to clubs signed by the Nigeria National League (NNL) Chief Operating Officer Emmanuel Adesanya stating the need allow clubs returning to their bases, ample time to settle in for the ‘critical stage of the 2021/2022 League season.”

“We write to humbly inform you that following the mid-week matches played today Thursday 14th July, 2022 at various centers, the weekend fixtures have been placed on hold.”

“This is to allow clubs that honoured their mid-week away matches to return to their base to prepare for their next game, given the critical stage of the 2021/2022 league season. A new date shall be communicated to you soon” the memo reads.

According to the earlier released fixtures time table, the 2021/2022 NNL season was expected to climax on July 2, 2022, but a series of postponements have seen the season now drag on till what might likely be the end of the month.

As usual, VFC regrets any inconvenience these incessant postponements may have caused our supporters and partners.
